My schooling put an emphasis on learning Microsoft Office productivity tools. And while that is still used – I feel like a lot of my work at places now is in Google‘s productivity offering (-Sheets, –Docs, –Slides, –Forms, etc.).
Google products are collaborative by nature and free until your organization pumps up the need for enterprise-level management. There is definitely a difference between Microsoft and Google, and I just wish that I would’ve gotten a certification in Google‘s products in addition to the required certification I had to get for Microsoft to graduate.
