Check the COLORS YouTube Channel for a Music Fix

A few days ago, a friend posted the Black Pumas – Colors video on Facebook. I almost posted, “Oh yeah, I love that!” But then I realized I was thinking of something else. I was thinking of the COLORS Youtube channel itself, not the song from Black Pumas. Totally different. Great video, but let me tell you about this channel!

I checked, and I actually can’t believe that I haven’t mentioned the channel before on here! Well, with no further ado – let’s jump into it.

A Bit About COLORS…

Not to be confused with the amazing Colores album from J Balvin or the previously mentioned song; I will Allow this amazing organization/channel to describe itself…

COLORSXSTUDIOS is a unique aesthetic music platform showcasing exceptional talent from around the globe. COLORS focuses on the most distinctive new artists and original sounds in an increasingly fragmented and saturated scene. All COLORS shows seek to provide clear, minimalistic stage that shines a spotlight on the artists, giving them the opportunity to present their music without distraction.

(From their YouTube Channel About Section)

Pro Tip: You can also follow this playlist on Spotify if you just want to keep up with the performance songs as they’re dropped.

A screenshot of the COLORS YouTube channel.

And therein lies the beauty of COLORS as a visual medium on YouTube.

The stripped-down sets and the aesthetics chosen (which I imagine are green-screened on) are genuinely beautiful. There isn’t much more to describe beyond that (someone performs in front of a simplified colorful background), so I’m just going to post a few of my favorite performances from the channel and I hope you can vibe to it.

Also, yeah – I TOTALLY encourage you to subscribe to that channel (the link is above) or to like/follow that playlist on Spotify that I linked to above the screenshot of the channel.

So Many COLORS!!

Presented in no particular order (I love all of these)…

That’s enough for now. Check out the YouTube Channel. Check out the Spotify playlist.

I have to get to work now.

Peace, and thanks for reading.
